pink carnations

I made this ridiculously obnoxiously pink, odd arrangement because I was having people over. Really I just wanted an excuse to buy those hot pink carnations because they get a bad rap, but carnations can be pretty awesome sometimes.

oat cakes

These were possibly the most Irish things I have ever made. Hard, full of oats, go well with tea. And honestly, not highly recommended as they taste like something that came from a time when people were referred to as peasants. Onion obviously wanted a taste though.

art in my house

I rearranged and framed some art that I've had for a while. I love changing around the art in my house, it's a simple way to make a space feel fresh without too much trouble. Starting from the top there is a Charley Harper print, two botanical prints that I got at a market in London, a wonderful silkscreen of a torso that I got in NYC last year, one of my own fabric pieces, on my mantle there is a new (to me) piece by local artist blackcattips, some thrifted work and one tiny pink painting by me.

Flowers include- veronica, daffodils, anemones, tulips, champagne peach and white roses, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, stock, hydrangea, brunia berry, lisianthus.
