Here's my calendar all printed and pretty! I sold quite a few, gave some away as gifts and kept one for myself. I decided on binder clips instead of getting it bound, and I'm very satisfied with the result. I'm gonna have to do more projects like this in the future, it's nice making something cute and sellable every once in a while.

time capsule
So when I was little I was really into the idea of time capsules, I wanted to make them and I really really wanted to find one. My cousin and I did make at least one, I don't remember how many. The problem was always finding cool stuff to put in them that I was willing to live without, difficult when you're like 10 and super selfish about your belongings. My dad found this one on his property and brought it to me, so I'm assuming this was one of mine, though I don't particularly recognize any of the items and there was a bunch of clay that's all clumpy so I don't know what it once was. He also found one a year or so ago hidden in a yard statue he made, clearly I was obsessed with the idea.

moving
In a few hours I'm getting on a greyhound to Atlanta, eek! I have temporary living situation set up so I really only need to take clothes. And then hopefully I will find a job (or jobs) and someone awesome will want a roommate and then I will be set! I'm excited to finally be moving somewhere and I hope it goes well, let me know if you have any Atlanta suggestions for me. (also I made this piece a few months ago but I think I neglected to share it)

wontons
I've been cooking a lot lately, mainly I've learned that if you plan all of your recipes before you go shopping, you get to eat a lot better and more adventurous food and there is no need for trips to the store just to get one ingredient. These pictures are of vegetarian wontons, one of our favorite recipes that we make A LOT. They are time consuming in terms of putting the filling in the wrappers and sealing them up, but it's great because the recipe makes so much I just make them as needed so I got at least 3 lunches out of this, plus 2 dinners with my mama! Not pictured is the cilantro on top. Because cilantro is gross. (Though my mother disagrees.)

presents
These stockings are part of what made my Christmas a bit more stressful than I would have liked, though it was also due in part to an expensively injured kitty. I just realized as I put these photos up, that I still haven't made one for myself, oops. Anyways, i hope the family members that received these will enjoy them for many years to come!

whoops
I thought I had forgotten one of my Irish projects, and sure enough I did. A day or two before we were leaving Ireland, Rick decided to make Jam. Probably not the best of ideas with all the other tasks to get done, but it happened anyways, meaning I designed these labels in approximately an hour. I couldn't bear the jam to not have labels when the jelly did, how unfair would that be? So they are very simple, but I still they they came out well.

tasty tart
I made this delicious, delicious recipe twice last week because it was really that good. My mother and I agree that it's totally restaurant worthy, in fact it's better than most of the vegetarian food I get at restaurants. The recipe is from My Best Days Ever, it's a swiss chard and goat cheese tart with a currant pine nut relish. Drooling yet? Unfortunately some creature dug up my mom's garden which means no chard, so we used mustard greens the first time and kale the second, and being that currants are apparently illegal in the US, I used cranberries instead.
