hyacinths

They smell awesome and remind me of big scoops of ice cream.

Trolley Barn Wedding

For once I got a photo of the bride holding one of my bouquets! The Trolley Barn might be my favorite new location, it was low stress and as laid back as a wedding venue can be while still functioning well.

coconut cake redo

I stuck to one recipe this time and it was MUCH more successful! Well, I used a different recipe for the icing but that doesn't really count, right?

more radishes

Every time I get radishes I have to take pictures, they are just too cute not to.

Park Tavern

This wedding was over this past weekend at Park Tavern (in Piedmont Park.) While it was a very subdued color palette, the flowers were gorgeous and I can't wait to see the professional photographs!

clematis bouquet

This is probably one of the strangest bouquets I've ever made. I still don't know if I like it or not, but hey it's not like it was for me. It includes pink peonies, gardenias, stephanotis and clematis.

fried green tomatoes

I don't really like red tomatoes, I like very little or no sauce on my pizza, won't eat them in a salad etc. Green tomatoes are a different story, I love making fried green tomatoes and I continually order them at restaurants. The problem is that they are usually over battered and fried, so I prefer to make them myself. I simply cut them up, dip them in egg and then cover them in corn meal with Mrs. Dash seasoning and serve with goat cheese or sour cream mixed with garlic and lime. Easy peasy.

Rustix

I am the designated Rustix Manor person at work, which is beyond fine with me since I love doing weddings there. It's extremely laid back and the people who own the property and live out there are so funny and helpful.

almost neon

These ranunculus were so ridiculously beautiful I literally couldn't shut up about them. I basically did these bouquets so I could have an excuse to touch them since this wedding wasn't "mine." Also included- white sweet peas, billy balls, peach stock, spray roses, mini green hydrangea, pink and peach roses.
